One Saturday morning as I drove up the road leading to our house, I recognized two bikes lying in the driveway of a new neighbour I haven't met yet. I stopped just in time to see my 11-year-old twins from the neighbour's house, carrying cans of soda. I asked what were doing, and Russell answered, "well, you always told us to welcome new neighbours, so we made something for them."

"What did you make?" I asked.

"Pancakes!"

"And how did you get pencakes here on your bikes?"

"Easy," answered Andrew, demonstrating. "We put them in our pockets!" I tried to picture the new neighbour's reaction to these unwanted gifts, but it must have been gracious, since the twins ended up with sodas.

Sometimes, in my zeal to "do something" for God, I am like my twins. I offer Him my crumpled pancakes, which He hasn't asked for, When He has so much more to give me. If I were a bit more like David, I might check in with God to see if my plans were in line with His plans.

My friend sent me this wonderful email. It's very meaningful and it thought me alot. Some of your guys might have known this but just read it... I got my reflection :3

Sand and Stone
TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING THROUGH THE DESERT.DURING SOME POINT OF THE lJOURNEY, THEY HAD ANARGUMENT; AND ONE FRIENDSLAPPED THE OTHER ONEIN THE FACE.

THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING,WROTE IN THE SAND: TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.THEY KEPT ON WALKING, UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,WHERE THEY DECIDEDTO TAKE A BATH THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE MIRE ! AND STARTED DROWNING, BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM.AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM THE NEAR DROWNING,HE WROTE ON A STONE: 'TODAY MY BEST FRIENDSAVED MY LIFE '. THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND ASKED HIM, 'AFTER I HURT YOU,YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?'THE FRIEND REPLIED'WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN IN SAND, WHERE WINDS OF FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOESSOMETHING GOOD FOR US,WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE WHERE NO WINDCAN EVER ERASE IT.'LEARN TO WRITEYOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TOCARVE YOURBENEFITS IN STONE.THEY SAY IT TAKES A MINUTE TO FIND A SPECIAL PERSON, AN HOUR TO APPRECIATE THEM, A DAY TO LOVE THEM, BUT THENAN ENTIRE LIFE TO FORGET THEM.

The mail told me to forgive and forget. Just like what God is trying to teach us. The world is in chaos because we don;t know how to forgive. It is so simple, just leave everything to God! God knows what to do, God will teach them to be right!

Hey people! I apologise for not posting something for a long time. I've just returned from my Sec 1 Experiencial Camp 2008. This camp rocks! Thanks God for planning this camp for me. I've learnt alot from this camp. And i seriously love the campfire!! It was awesome!!!
Let me share with you what i've learnt from this camp. I've learnt alot, not only on science, or personal safety, I've learnt to apreciate what we have now.
During the nature ramble, we went into the forest. There lots of mud and insects. We went in and to the muddy river. It is black in color and loads of poop in there. But, when i heard what the instructor was saying, i got touched. I felt that we are spoiled. We are just like spoilt brats who don't know how to apreciate. What we have now, is far more awesome than what the people have in the past in World War 2. The instructor said, "If you can't even handle just that little and and dirt, how can you endure when theres is really a war?"
God has bless us. We must appreciate God. Now in a confortable place reading all this your might find it boring but let me tell you, if one day , there is really a World War 3, and you are there "Ewww!! Discusting! My bed is not confortable! The toilet bowl cannot flush!" I don't think you can ever ever survife.
We are here and the Lord is up there watching over each and every one of us. He knows what we are thinking, what we are doing. He is even teaching each and every one of us right now.

It's Me

Angel is my name. I shall leave no mercy on those who break my laws in this land. I see through your eyes, I feel through your hands, none of your actions can escape me. Bare in mind that I will remember you when you leave...
