Huray for the BDS Cross-Country run today, it was a perfect aportunity for us all to burn up our fats and have lots of fun! ...Well.. Maybe not so perfect as you know, people may just wanna walk their minds out instead of running their minds out.
Anyway, it was that morning when I woke up late again, thought I'd be dead but just then I remembered that it starts at 7.45am, 15mins later than usual time. Oh well, at least i made it there "early". I saw Miss Abraham first in front of a microphone.. Even though it was at the reservoir but as usual, she was in front of a microphone releasing her power of descipline and leadership qualities. Well let's not get out of point, let's just jump to the run!!
The signal was made and the students started to stroll with their feet dragging the path filled with gravels. Nicole and I brisk walked and over took some of them. Then we started jogging, I went acording to the beat of the music playing in my ears through my ear plugs. That "gave" me some "energy" to move on. I was quick. Just then, a sharp pain burnt in my waist as I jog... Well I continued to jog and stopped half way and walked fast with Nicole right behind me. She didn't have the energy to run anymore so I ran on without her. (Evil am I? Muahahaha!!)
Anyway, I completed the run with an EXCO member giving me a badge. And guess what? I was within the first 100 people who completed the run among the whole school. (Estimated about 1000 over stuents) Nicole did too but was a lil late cause she was behind me haha.
And the event all ended with an announcement of the winners. Happy ending eh? Well I'm gonna end this with a press of the keyboard button. Good night people! HIP-HIP HURAY!!
